Confluence Area

 24 miles southwest of Williston at Missouri-Yellowstone confluence. Developed and primitive camping and security lights, picnic shelter. 

Thompson’s Landing 

In Williston on the Little Muddy River (connects to the Missouri River). Security lights, park, picnic shelter and fishing dock.

Lewis and Clark Bridge 

Southwest outskirts of Williston on Highway 85. Security lights and picnic shelter.

Lewis and Clark State Park

20 miles east of Williston on Lake Sakakawea. Developed and primitive camping, security lights, picnic shelter, concessions, lodging, access fee and RV dump station. 

Whitetail Bay (Lund’s Landing)

24 miles east of Williston on Lake Sakakawea. Developed camping, security lights, picnic shelter, concessions, lodging and boat rental. 

Little Beaver Bay

42 miles east of Williston on Lake Sakakawea. Gravel access road, developed and primitive camping, security lights and picnic shelter.

Williams County Parks

A variety of county parks offer boat ramps and fishing piers, including Blacktail Dam, Epping/Springbrook Dam, Kota Ray Dam and 
McGregor Dam.
