Williams County offers spectacular ice fishing on Lake Sakakawea and at smaller lakes and dams stocked by North Dakota Game & Fish. Icehouse and snowmobile rentals are available in Williston.  
 
Lace up your skates and enjoy the ice rink at the Western Star Complex or catch a home game of the Williston State College Tetons NJCAA hockey team!  
 
Explore the trails at Blacktail Dam with your cross-country skis. Or try the trails at Lewis and Clark State Park where you will find fat tire bikes and snowshoes available for rent.

Holiday Fun

Do your holiday shopping at our boutique stores and Black Friday sales — then get into the spirit with the Holiday Lights Parade, every year the Friday after Thanksgiving. Then starting that Saturday and lasting all through December, see hundreds of displays at the Spring Lake Park Holiday Lights Drive.
